FAQ's

I'm in the United States, can I still use your service?
Of course! We have clients all over Europe, Australia and in the US. Just use the order form to place your order as usual, specifying (if necessary) your domain name extension as a .com if required.

What exactly am I getting for my yearly fee?
You get your choice of Flash Website Template, a year's hosting, a Content Management System - our Site Editor - and if you need it a Domain Name and email address.

How often can I change my website content?
As often as you wish - you are changing it yourself!

What website content can I change?
Everything except the functionality and basic style of the template. All the images, your logo, all the text, it's all completely yours to play with.

What if I already have my own domain name and hosting?
We can either supply you with an HTML page which automatically redirects your visitors to your ohfolio.com website, or you can transfer the Domain and Hosting to us, it's up to you. If you choose to transfer to us, it can take a week to implement so our recommendation is the HTML redirect as this can be done immediately.

What if I decide I've chosen the wrong template for me, and I want to change it for another?
If you decide the template you chose when ordering is not after all what you wanted, we can change this for you once. If you change your mind again, this is fine but we may ask you for an additional cost of £10 to cover admin. You are entitled to change your template once every 12 months for free.

Are there any extra costs involved?
None at all.

What if I have ideas about new templates for you to add?
Let us know! We're always building new templates and if you have a good design, send it to us and if we decide to implement it we'll pay you for it.

What is the Referral program about?
Simply put... If you recommend a friend, colleague or anyone to us, and they decide to join, we'll pay you £10 as soon as they order. However, it is important that they tell us you referred them at the time of ordering. You can refer as many people as you wish and earn £10 ($16) each time. Just think - if you refer 10 people to us, your website is paid for and you're actually in profit!

I have some technical knowledge for website design, can I use this when customising my template?
Yes you can. Our templates have been designed specifically for people with NO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE whatsoever. However, if you do know how to code in HTML you can use this in our editor too. The Flash templates call their information from XML files and render that information as HTML, so you can include links, working email addresses, additional images... almost anything you can do in HTML, all within your XML text.

Most of your templates have only 3 or 4 pages, why is this?
Statistics show that for portfolio sites - and for most sites in fact - visitors are only interested in 3 things: About you, examples of your work, and how to get in touch with you. Anything else is just clutter. We build no-nonsense templates, where your visitors can get to the information they need with 1 click. Some templates have a fourth page for those of you who wish to creat a Blog or News page. In the future we will build templates with the function of being able to create new pages yourselves.
